Newly paved asphalt surfaces create seams where asphalt sections join. Water can migrate into these seams, freeze in winter and cause significant cracking along the seams. Our asphalt emulsifiers and are specially formulated to penetrate these seams to resist the ability of water to migrate in and freeze. Our custom equipment is specifically built to most effectively apply emulsifiers, bind the asphalt together, force in sand and lock-in the seams for a long-lasting joint seal. Using RAP to create roads and parking lots is an effective use of recycled asphalt. Without an emulsifier to bind the surface, however, it quickly breaks apart and migrates back to a gravel surface, causing dust and rain drainage challenges. Using our specialized asphalt emulsifiers, we can bind the RAP together to create a longer-lasting and higher quality surface.

Aging asphalt loses its flexibility as certain compounds evaporate and are lost to the action of the sun. Our asphalt rejuvenators are applied to asphalt surfaces to return many of the compounds back into the road to improve its flexibility and substantially extend the life. Once a road reaches a certain age, it will begin to crack and break apart. Apply a rejuvenator before this point to extend its life and save on costly repaving.
